SOY & HONEY-GLAZED SAUSAGES

This is the first time I´ve cooked sausages in the oven, a friend of mine has given me this recipe encouraging me to try this. She added some thyme leaves too, but I prefer not to for the first time. This is really easy and cheap.

SOY & HONEY-GLAZED SAUSAGES

INGREDIENTS SERVES 2
6 sausages of your choice (mine were with pork meat)
1 red onion, cut into 6 wedges
2tbsp Soy sauce
1tbsp honey
1tsp thyme leaves, plus extra to garnish (optional)
500g potatoes
50g butter

METHOD
Heat the oven to 190ºC.

Put the sausages and onion wedges in a roasting tin.

Mix the soy sauce with the honey and thyme(if used), then pour over the sausages and onion.

Bake for 20 minutes, making sure to turn the sausages every so often to coat in the sticky glaze. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes and make the puré.

Serve the mash with the sticky sausages and onions. Garnish with extra thyme if you wish.

DONE!
