LEFTOVER CAULIFLOWER

When I make cauliflower, there´s no way to find one that suits my family, either it´s too big or too small, so normally I buy one and keep those leftovers in case I want to stir fry it with some broccoli or whatever. I normally steam it, because it´s the way I like to eat it and then put some fried sliced garlic on top of it. Simple.

Pat dry it well with kitchen paper to absorb the excess of liquids.

I´m not giving specific amounts for the ingredients or whatever, this recipe goes by eye. What I actually did was to keep a couple of florettes for today.
I sauté some bacon rashers cut in small pieces, and a couple of sliced cloves of garlic, with some butter and olive oil. When the garlic is almost golden and the bacon is almost crispy, add the florettes and stir well to combine all the flavours.

Drain the pasta and return it to the saucepan with the bacon, garlic and cauliflower. Toss everything together. It is simple and gorgeous.

I didn´t put some grated cheese on top because I don´t think it was neccesary to do so, but it´s up to you.
This was really good, you can decorate it with some parsley or simple with some cut chives.

DONE!
